In 2002, however, a traditional newspaper advert drew his attention to the temporary employment sector - and to ZAG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eTo be honest, I had no idea what you actually do in this industry,\u201c he recalls today with a laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, he took the plunge - and started in the summer of 2002 as an assistant in personnel planning in Weimar. After just a short time, it was clear that this was someone who could take on responsibility. After just one year, he took over the site as acting manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eIf I hadn't started at ZAG, I really have to say looking back - and I hadn't received and enjoyed such excellent training - then I don't know if I would have become so successful in this industry.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From construction to success<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>His development continued at a rapid pace: in 2005, Mr Weiland opened the Erfurt site, which he literally took over in the shell and built up independently.<br>\u201eI really owe a lot to Martin Wei\u00df and Silvia Daniel,\u201c he says. \u201eI was able to absorb a lot of ideas and innovations from both of them.\u201c<br>But he also gained new experiences outside of ZAG. Other companies, other perspectives - but something remained constant: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u201eWhat always stayed with me during this time was ZAG's DNA - that special spirit that sustains and motivates in every crisis.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A familiar comeback<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024, contact with ZAG intensified again - and since 1 April 2025, Mr Weiland has been back in a very special place: in the office he once opened himself. \u201eI felt right at home again after lunch - the familiar surroundings, the programmes - it was super easy to get back in. I also missed ZAG's visionary thinking. Since his return, Mr Weiland has been Head of Sales for Thuringia and will be promoted to a management position again at the end of the year. For him, it's more than just a job - it's an affair of the heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eFor me, ZAG is still a company that is innovative and extremely ambitious in the personnel services industry.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Future with vision<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>His goal is clear: he wants to develop the Erfurt site back into one of the most successful locations in the region - and, above all, offer long-term prospects to external employees. \u201eWe work in all professional groups, across all sectors - and that's what makes it so exciting,\u201c he explains. \u201eI want us in Erfurt to become what ZAG has always been: a place where opportunities arise.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201eI came to stay. I see real long-term career prospects here - and that applies not only to me, but also to temporary work as a whole.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A strong signal for ZAG<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Weiland's return shows: ZAG is more than just an employer - it is a place that people love to return to.
